Several cases of children who have been brutalized and murdered are reported daily! The President called on the courts to “impose the harshest sentences on such crimes, as part of a concerted campaign to end this scourge in our society”. We at Child Welfare South Africa ask for this issue to be tabled Urgently to show Governments commitment and support in making this a national Priority. We ask for a stricter sentence for rapists and murders as a deterrent for this Heinous crime against Humanity as enshrined in our constitution!!! Rape is a brutal act and is a violation against all humanity!!! Are we breeding a society of Rapist ??????? If these behaviours are left unchecked it will continue to increase daily.
Child protection is the fundamental right for every child and every member of society should play a role in ensuring that children are protected from abuse, trafficking, prostitution and RAPE! We urge you not to ignore this call as a South African citizens or resident for the protection of vulnerable children and women that are being raped daily!
This is a matter that should be of high priority to everyone. We the undersigned call the President and all political parties to make a concerted attempt to ERADICATE RAPE in South Africa by taking stronger action against offenders!!!
We request a national plan of action fully supported and funded by Government to address violence against women and all children to include the following:
- to impose stricter penalties for Rape
- Increase police presence in the community
- Assist with cases of Rape and abuse against all vulnerable groups!
- Promote and support prevention programs to prevent violent and criminal behavior especially against children!

Lock them up for good. We cant keep living like this while our kids are not safe at all.
How can people be this cruel?? Needs a way harsher punishment immediately. Cant believe this is happening in our country.

Enough is enough. These monsters deserve life sentences with no parole. Think of the poor babies.
