To the House of Commons.
The petition of the people of Croydon declares that having only three GPs on call from midnight to 8am covering 370,000 residents in Croydon is clearly inadequate and forces Croydon residents into more expensive care at A&E thus wasting public money.
The petitioners therefore call upon the House of Commons to urge the Government to direct Croydon NHS to provide for more GP overnight coverage.

The growth of this petition has reached a level that allows me to finalize the formal submission package for the House of Commons. I am currently drafting the cover letter to accompany our demands and will be requesting an urgent meeting with local health board representatives to review these staffing figures.

My mum is elderly and this is a massive worry for us. Need more staff on duty, full stop.
Ridiculous. Had to sit at A&E for 6 hours last week with my toddler because I couldn't get a doctor at night. Sort it out.
3 doctors for 370,000 people?? That is a joke. No wonder the waiting rooms are packed.
Working nights makes this impossible. If something goes wrong at 3am you are just stuck. Please fix this.
Its common sense really. Pay for more doctors now and save the NHS money on A&E in the long run. Croydon is getting way too big for this.
