Final supporters
We have been at work on this brewery for a year and half now, and can't seem to stop running into the bureaucratic wall. We have been ordered by the City of Philadelphia to attend a zoning hearing concerning the brewery's current zoning district. The City of Philadelphia is claiming that we need to be under Limited Industrial zoning, something they currently do not allow for on our block of W. Girard Avenue. It is quite inconsistent, with the rest of the city, considering that 4 local brewpubs within the city, are able to function under CMX zoning (which is the zoning we currently have). We are asking friends, families, and supporters to sign this petition to help in providing evidence of support for our hearing. The hearing is Wednesday June 17th, at 2PM at the Zoning Board of Adjustment, located at 1515 Arch Street, 18th Floor. Please attend if you are able. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

As a neighbor who has been following the plight of this brewery as they attempt to enliven the neighborhood, I am saddened that they have yet another hurdle before them. Please let them open, bring eyes to the street and tax dollars to the city, and stop the red tape already!
As a fellow business owner and neighbor on W. Girard, I can say Crime and Punishment will be a welcome addition to the avenue. They have a great product and want to truly serve this community. Let's help them get their doors open!
I am a Fairmount resident on 25th St and have been eagerly awaiting the opening of this establishment. This is an important development in this area of W Girard and a critical time to approve new businesses in this area. I know you have the support of us in N Fairmount.
I've had the opportunity to work with team at Crime & Punishment Brewing Company on insurance and risk management over the last few months. They've worked diligently to make certain that they are putting safety and the community first. My team fully supports the Brewery.
As we are also opening a brewery, I understand the seemingly neverending series of hoops one must jump through in order to get open. Breweries rejuvenate a community and can serve as a linchpin for economic revitalization. Good luck and hope to raise your glass soon!
The City should be more conducive to exciting new businesses that stimulate growing areas. These guys are trailblazers. Let's get them what they need to drive revenue in this neighborhood!

If Iron Hill Brewery can be located on Germantown Avenue in Chestnut Hill, I don't see why Crime & Punishment can't come to Girard Avenue. A microbrewery/pub is not the same thing as an industrial manufacturing plant. Use your heads, people!
