True Hate Crimes Awareness Act Hate Victim Impact Panel This petition calls to (A) Hate Crimes Awareness program to be implemented within all public schools as a required educational course. Giving more understanding to the vast diversity and impact of being bullied, threatened, harmed or murdered. This is not all about forcing acceptance, yet creating awareness not only homosexuals. but to recognize the back ground and impacts that this has on color, gender, race, religion or sexual orientation. (B) Adult Misdemeanor convicted off violence or threats based on the county law if found guilty, be required to undergo a hate crimes awareness course as part of the probation condition. Seeing this momentum grow feels deeply personal because I know how much these programs are needed to protect our children. Watching people rally behind this cause gives me real hope that we can finally start addressing the roots of hate in our schools.

kids need this badly. social media is making everything worse. good luck robb!
Needed this years ago. too many people get away with awful stuff because they dont think they are doing anything wrong.
Kids are so cruel these days. we need to teach them better before they grow up to be hateful adults. this is a great idea.
Bullying is out of control. maybe if schools actually taught kids about the damage they cause it would stop.
Schools focus too much on tests and not enough on how to treat each other. stop the hate.

YES. make them take the course if they break the law. maybe they will think twice next time.
