Dear Craig,
As members of the online community that appreciates and uses Craigslist, we ask you to shut down the adult service section. Craigslist, as you know, is part of the electronic fabric of society and is used by a wide range of people of all ages. The adult service section facilitates activities that are harmful to vulnerable people. While you are making improvements and working with law enforcement officials, why not just take it down? Why do you want to be associated with a website that facilitates prostitution? It is incompatible and inappropriate to have, for example, childcare services along with adult services. We would like to see Craigslist as a safe place for people to visit, and not associated with destructive activities.

my kids use craigslist for finding used furniture and old books but the ads on that site are just disgusting and totally inappropriate for anyone to see

Having watched programs and talked with a detective about this site I am convinced this is nothing but a site that facilitates several types of serious criminal activity
