Hosted by The Escort Law Review

Because laws on the subject were written decades (if not centuries) ago, the legitimate government interest in cracking down on street pimps and those who coerce and degrade women casts a broad net and catches businesses that could not have been contemplated at the time, and which should not be grouped in with street pimps and human traffickers.

Escort Services (Agencies) provide a valuable service to both the public, and mostly, to the women (and some men) who participate in the escort industry.

Escort Agencies have the capacity to screen and vet potential customers, provide security and safe transportation for their workers, and offer contractual compensation plans that are fair, regular and enforceable.

Decriminalizing the operation of escort services will increase competition and thereby improve the working conditions and pay for escort workers. Escort Agencies facilitate the process of regulating the escort industry in places that license and regulate escorts, and are accountable for seeing that standards are upheld.

Decriminalization removes the incentive for unscrupulous pimps and traffickers to coerce and abuse women by bringing the industry out of the shadows and providing escort workers with safe and legal options.

By signing this petition, you agree that Escort Services (aka Agencies) should be able to operate legally and openly subject to reasonable government regulation.

(while it is not necessary you use your real full name, doing so will help lend credibility to this petition and people viewing it)

it makes no sense to keep this underground. these agencies keep people way safer than just letting them work the streets alone. time to move into the 21st century.

FINALLY. regulation creates safety and stops the bad actors from taking advantage of anyone. enough with the outdated laws.
