As a fellow Reigate shop owner (Dish Ceramics Studio) I would welcome another independant business which will be a fantastic asset to the town and bring in more trade from further a field

In favour of small local businesses being represented in Reigate, and most glad it's not another hairdresser! Resident in RH2 for 32 of my 38 years.

An excellent idea and something different to all the restaurants and coffee places locally. Good luck with it!

As a life long and current resident of Reigate I fully support this planning application. I don't understand what the problem is with two pubs within a stonesthrow of the planned store. Besides the demographic for Craft Ale tends to be a more discerning, well mannered crowd. Give Lindsey music / Gigriggers the new lease of life it deserves. If in doubt revoke the license of the Anchor and pass the license to this place!

This will not be a pub or a noisy bar, it will be a charming independent boutique premesis selling artisan products to discerning clients. It would be of benefit to the town and particularly this end of the town. A similar business in Dorking is now a thriving hub for the local community. Please grant its licence.

This craft beer shop is exactly what Reigate needs. The individual and artisan nature of the shop will suit the town perfectly and provide a place to purchase unique ales. One only has to look to Cobbetts in Dorking and what a successful venture that is and what a wonderful community has developed within it. Reigate needs a similar shop to Cobbetts to cater to lovers of fine ales.

Reigate needs more variety for drinkers - enough restaurants already.

I can see no reason to object to this change of use its an original for Re igate and will make a nice change from a coffee or charity shop and I don't drink but will call in to view this new enterprise

I am a fan of craft beer and micro pubs. They are great for the community and offer a diversified selection of beers from small producers. I have not experienced/observed any of the late night rowdy problems that are generally experienced by larger town/city mainstream pubs. It would be a welcome edition to Reigate's offerings to the public.

It will be a welcome addition to the West side of Reigate (next to the best curry house in town!)

yes please sounds like a great idea! Independent, new, makes the town more interesting and diverse, not another hairdresser or clothes chain.

We have great independant wine shops that offer tastings, so why not a similar offering for beer. Plus another indipendant to retain Reigates uniqueness. A shop of interest rather than the dull offerings from multi-nationals that dominate the town and a draw to this often forgotten area. Great idea

Independent retailers make Reigate interesting and diverse and this enterprise adds to the character of a town desperate for more retail traffic. Excellent idea and I'm in full support.
Give independents a chance!!
Good luck with this Martin.!
