We are Team Sabesan, a group of young people from across Coventry and Warwickshire, who are taking part in The Challenge. This is a 3 week course which culminates in a project to change our community for the better. For more information, please visit http://www.the-challenge.org/ We are campaigning for a Young Person's Council to be set up in the Woodlands area of Coventry. This would ensure that the young people were able to have a say in local issues and in activities for the area. On Saturday 24th September 2011 we are holding a campaign day in Coventry City Centre, where we will be informing the public of our aims, in the hope that they will sign our petition to set up a Young Persons' Council. Our vision is that teenagers will have the opportunity to meet with community leaders to discuss their ideas for local development. We hope that this will not only change the public's perception of teenagers, but also to prove to young people themselves that they can make a difference in their society. It is free for you to sign this petition and support our aims we strongly believe can change this community for the better. Thank You
