PLEASE HELP US STOP THE REZONING OF THE UNDEVELOPED 10 ACRES IN THE NEWPORT HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD, ALONG THE COTTONWOOD CREEK TRAIL.

WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP!

Developers are overbuilding in our neighborhood! A huge storage unit building has been built. 162 new homes are being built.... We now need your help to stop rezoning for an additional 49 single family homes from being approved for Newport Heights.

REQUEST FOR REZONING SUBMITTED: Newport Heights Development - Another 49 single family homes on 10 acres - on the south side of Cottonwood Creek (originally zoned for 9 single family homes and a park).

COMPLETE: A huge storage unit building - on the north side of Cottonwood Creek.

ALREADY UNDER CONSTRUCTION: The Midtown Collection Development - 106 single family homes on 21 acres, on the north side of Cottonwood Creek.

ZONING STILL TO BE APPROVED DECEMBER 19 MEETING: Trail Side at Cottonwood Creek - 56 single family homes development on 15 acres, on the north side of Cottonwood Creek.

WE NEED AS MANY NEIGHBORS AS POSSIBLE TO SIGN THIS PETITION, BEFORE THE NEXT CITY ZONING MEETING, TENTATIVELY SCHEDULED FOR SEPTEMBER 19TH!

THESE DEVELOPMENTS ARE ALREADY NEGATIVELY IMPACTING: Our beautiful open space and views. Our now dwindling wildlife and their increasingly limited habitat. Storm water, car oil, trash, etc runoff into Cottonwood Creek and our water aquifer. Traffic. Parking. D11 and D20 schools. Neighborhood population density. The quality of life of our neighborhoods.

WE URGENTLY NEED YOUR HELP TO STOP THIS REZONING!

PLEASE DISCUSS, FORWARD AND SHARE THIS PETITION IN YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA AND WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS!
