I was looking at the traffic near the dockyard again today and it is just impossible to imagine ninety two trucks pushing through those narrow lanes every single day. People are sending me such stressed messages about the noise and the dust because we really want to keep our town from turning into a dumping ground for scrap metal that belongs somewhere else entirely.

I really thought this might just be a lost cause in the beginning but seeing how many people care about our harbor town is actually overwhelming. My notifications have been absolutely nonstop all day and I honestly cannot believe the energy behind this fight right now.

our poor roads are already falling apart as it is. heavy trucks all day long will destroy everything.
THINK OF THE POLLUTION! Hazardous waste being stored right near the water is a recipe for disaster. Stop this now.
cobh deserves better than a scrap yard. leave the heritage go to a place that actually needs it
used to walk down that way all the time. itll be ruined by the noise and the smell if this goes ahead.
92 trucks a day? The roads in Cobh are barely wide enough for two cars to pass. This is madness.
