I call on the East Riding Council to reject planning proposal 20/02150/STPLF as it would have a detrimental impact on residents in North Ferriby and Melton.

Objections include, but are not limited to:

*The site would cause severe noise pollution; noting that Transwaste were denied 24/7 operation hours for similar reasons.

*The site would cause severe light pollution; noting that local wildlife have made this area their home and it would cause serious harm and disturbance to their way of life.

*Serious and legitimate concerns exist that Capper Pass has contaminated the land the site proposals plan to build on; noting that locally people have died previously because of the contamination of Capper Pass.

*Road infrastructure could not cope with 657 vans to the area; noting that the A63 between North Ferriby and Hull is often gridlocked with traffic during. This would mean that 657 vans could need to use the Ferriby High Road on their way to Hessle, Humber Bridge or Hull through local back roads that are unable to support such a vast influx of traffic.

Reaching this point has been physically and mentally draining but seeing your names pile up gives me the strength to keep fighting for our streets. The weight of this challenge is still heavy and the council is not listening yet. I am exhausted but I am not stopping.

It will be horrific if this monstrosity gets built next to our village!! It will cause the most horrendous noise, light and air pollution. It will destroy people’s mental health plus the A63 and surrounding roads wouldn’t cope with the extra 2000 plus HGVs on it!!!

We have enough traffic around Swanland & North Ferriby with all the new houses being built. We don't need business vehicles up and down the roads.

The development is not in keeping with the area and would have a serious impact on the environment. Local opinion is strongly against the proposal and sceptical of claims of job creation. Other similar developments have shown that there is little economic gain but has had a serious impact on living standard environmental degradation
