It can cause blockages in the plumbing system increasing the costs of water treatment and contaminates water. One litre of cooking oil can contaminate up to 1 million litres of water. You can help to avoid this. This petition is to ask the council to create disposal cooking oil locations in Perth and help with a campaign showing the population how easy it is to store and dispose the cooking oil properly.
