I spent the afternoon digging through the city budget records to see exactly how they justify closing a facility that brings millions into our local economy. The silence from the council members is frustrating but I am preparing a formal presentation to show them why this building is the heart of our town.

My family has walked through those doors for generations and I refuse to watch this building disappear. We are drifting toward our first big milestone so please send this link to your neighbors right now to show them how much this venue means to Redding.

Ridiculous to think about closing this down. My family goes there every year for the home show. Keep it running.
Keep it open! Redding needs this place for the community events and the local workers. Don't tear down our history.
So many jobs rely on this place. Think of the families who need the work and the income. Bad move for Redding.
Fix it up and keep it open. We cant just let everything good in this town disappear.
The money it brings in is huge for the city. If they close it our local shops are going to lose out. Total mistake.

Please save our convention center. It brings so much business to the area. Where are we supposed to hold events otherwise???
