I felt awful on Synthroid/levothyroxine, even worse than before taking anything for hypothyroidism I have been on Armour thyroid for over twenty years. The difference is night and day.

It's very sad that pharmaceutical companies are skyrocketing the price on a drug that has required almost zero research and development costs over the past twenty-five years or more.

With Obamacare destroying the United States health insurance system, we don't need additional pressure from pharmaceutical companies, especially with these outrageous Obamacare deductibles we are forced to pay.

Having struck lucky with my endocrinologist, I have regained my health. This is due to him understanding the limits of Synthroid/levothyroxine alo e as a treatment. He treats my symptoms and not just my blood results. I now take a t4/t3 combination which has quite frankly given me my life back. I am shocked by the number of fellow sufferers who continue to feel ill whilst on t4 only and the point blank refusal of doctors to even try to do something about it.

T4 only makes me unwell and increases my risk of heart disease.
