I e been on synthroid/Levothyroxine for years now and I have not had any relief from my symptoms. Actually, in my latest blood test, it's results showed its only getting worse. We need options other than the the ones prescribed over and over without results. I'm honestly at my wits end of this suffering every single day. The inability to have the energy to get up and enjoy life, Spend a full day with my family enjoy my time with my grandchildren without the constant agony of the fatigue, anxiety and depression. Good medical research on this drug would make it easier for doctors to prescribe it. I also believe there needs to be a change in treatment guidelines. I felt awful on Synthroid/levothyroxine, even worse than before taking anything for hypothyroidism I have been on Armour thyroid for over twenty years. The difference is night and day. It's very sad that pharmaceutical companies are skyrocketing the price on a drug that has required almost zero research and development costs over the past twenty-five years or more. With Obamacare destroying the United States health insurance system, we don't need additional pressure from pharmaceutical companies, especially with these outrageous Obamacare deductibles we are forced to pay.

Having struck lucky with my endocrinologist, I have regained my health. This is due to him understanding the limits of Synthroid/levothyroxine alo e as a treatment. I was FINALLY given armour thyroid last May 2016. It was manufactured by Forrest. FIRST time in my life I felt alive and warm. Years of the synthetic medications never helped. Now, I have Actavis armour and my body is preparing itself for hibernation again. So upset. So tired. Please please help by keeping the armour pure.

I was on Armour for 28 years without any problems ever. I have severe hypothyroidism that only was corrected with Armour. Since Activas bought out Forrest, I have had a nightmare of hypo symptoms return along with the medicine putting me to sleep 30 minutes after taking it. This is unacceptable to ruin such a wonderful product. When nothing else works for a thyroid patient, Armour was always great. Please bring back the old formula and quit adding junk we don't need it in like more cellulose! I have had to be taken off of my trusted Armour due to wacky labs and have gone thru almost all thyroid meds, synthetic and NDT without any success. This is a nightmare when I used to feel normal with old Armour, I barely function now. Unacceptable!!
