Consumer's Deserve the Right to Choose their Agent!

Ridiculous. The insurance industry is complicated and convoluted as it is, the least you can do is pay the experts to properly guide us. I would be lost without my insurance agent.

I am sick about this new dilemma! Will it never stop?? Taking our rights away little by little??!! We want to choose our insurance agent and of course he should get paid for spending his time, educating us and following up!!

Pay the commission when they have been earned... stop this crap,, big corps are ripping off hard working insurance agents

Agents provide valuable knowledge and service to our clients, especially in issues related to Marketplace. Our agency has begun to receive calls from the general public offering to pay us to sort out their Marketplace related issues, all because they don't have a qualified and knowledgeable agent to assist them! Many of these people have spent HOURS on the phone with Marketplace representatives getting no solution to their problems. Agents and brokers have experience and know the right questions to ask in order to correct the problem. Please support this important legislation!

My agent sorts my problems with the insurance company from time to time when I have them. Otherwise it would be me against them. How would I ever win that on my own? Independent agents are important for the consumer.

Insurance agents deserve a commission on policies written.

I value my health insurance agent and our office and the people who I know who own businesses need an agent. I cannot tell you how many times I and others have to reach out to them for so many different issues, including direction. PLEASE PLEASE continue to keep our providers, they are an asset to the healthcare industry and if our agent no longer exists, the stress will be unbelievable. PLEASE!!

Sherry Williams, my insurance agent, has helped me tremendously for years with individual, family, employee plans. I could never have gone through the nightmare of the healthcare marketplace without her. She deserves to be paid and paid well through commissions from the insurance companies who greatly benefit from her work.

Obamacare has caused all these problems. I now pay for a family of 4$20,000 a year for ins. It would be more than that if I did not have an agent to help me find the best policy. If carriers are not paying commissions they are in direct violation of their state filings and need to be fined accordingly
