As a type 1 diabetic, I have watched the price of my insulin (with insurance) increase from less than $100 per 3 month refill to almost $500. Mind you that’s WITH insurance.
My family members shouldn't have to sacrifice daily nessessaities and risk losing housing because they have to pay the high cost of insulin instead of paying a necessary bill.
I have had type one diabetes since I was 14. Over the past 19 years, I have watched the price of insulin skyrocket. My life completely depends on insulin and it’s getting to where I can’t afford it, even with insurance. This isn’t fair to people who don’t have a choice but to only take insulin to survive. No diet or anything like that will help me.
I am type one diabetic and it would be devastating to not be able to afford the medicine that keeps me alive every day. It’s extremely unfortunate for people that get diagnosed with this and have no control over it and yet they still can’t afford the medicine to save their lives.
My patients are struggling getting insulin due to lack of insurance, money and high co-pays
I take insulin every day
I'm a diabetic. I have recently gotten a new insurance that will not cover my meds. I can not afford the prices they want.

This is so important. My father died of diabetes. No other person should feel the loss of a parent or child of type 1.
