I am honestly stunned to share that the restoration of our pitches has been approved. This outcome belongs entirely to the community members who refused to let this safety issue slide. We will keep a close eye on the progress through the coming weeks to ensure everything stays on track.
We are asking you to sign up with this on-line petition so we can get the football pitches at Condado de Alhama back into a playable and safe state. Currently they have fallen into disrepair and are unplayable and dangerous. They are also an eyesore and not in keeping with our 5 star resort. Getting the pitches restored at Condado will give the children a safe environment to play football and other sports away from the communal gardens where damage could be caused to other smaller children/infants as well as damage to our beautiful resorts fixtures and fittings!! Last year we had two very successful football tournaments held on the pitches and although they were brilliant evnets; the pitches were not. One child fell and hurt himself very badly and ended up going to hospital because of the uneven and dangerous surface. There were countless cuts and grazes for the same reason. We have a quality resort with great new things happening all the time and it would be a real shame if we cant get the land owners to agree to repair and maintain the pitches for the good of the community. Please sign up to this and when we get enough signatures we'll be able to hand it to Milenium/IRM at the AGM in the spring.
I am honestly a bit overwhelmed by the way people have gathered around this cause. Seeing this level of support for fixing the pitches reminds me that this community truly cares about our safety and shared spaces.

About time something was done about this. Sick of seeing the kids playing in the gardens just because the actual pitches are ruined.

Fix them already! We pay service fees for a reason and keeping the sports area safe should be a priority.

Total BS that the owners let it get this bad. Used to be great for the tournaments but now its just a hazard waiting to happen.

My kid tripped on these pitches twice last summer. It is an absolute disgrace that a resort this nice has literal death traps for grass.

The pitches are a total embarrassment. How are we supposed to have a 5 star resort with fields that look like a war zone?
