Comporium is owned by AT&T, terrible customer service, they throttle the speed of internet, they are over charging for service, treat there customers like crap. there is a service pole in my yard I even caught a service tech, stealing from my eleven year old sons garden. insulting, come on peoples property without letting any one know, that they are working they need to know that cameras are everywhere, as much as they overcharge there techs. should not be stealing from customers.

Comporium needs to go! They are terrible! Their internet sucks and they are way to pricey! They’ve gotten away with this for too long. It’s time for other cable companies to come in. I hope the FCC does find violations because I am sure there are some and SHUT THEM DOWN!!

Considering AT&T offers comparable rates starting at almost half of what Comporium charges we need other options.
AT&T - $39.99 Internet Offer: Price for Internet 1000 "Speeds up to 940 Mbps" for 12 months before standard rate of 59.99
Comporium - Download speeds up to 600 Mbps, upload speeds up to 10 Mbps - 64.94 for 3 months, after promotional offer expires, current retail rate of $74.94 applies.
If they would even be made to drop their prices to come close to matching their would be competitors I would be satisfied but paying $85 a month for shoddy service with wifi that constantly cuts out is outrageous.

Comporium's Zipstream service sounds great but only available on the newer side of my neighborhood. Those of us stuck with their cable internet get sub par speeds and prices that continuously increase while getting nothing in return. Recently, we got a great opportunity to work from home which was such a blessing but our internet does not meet the minimum 10 Mbps upload speed required by the employer. I tried to shop around for another ISP, but Comporium is the only game in town. This is ridiculous!

I think this is awful that there are no other choices. I also think Comporium is extremely expensive.

Terrible customer service from initial installation. I just bought a house in Rock Hill and absolutely hate the fact I have no choice but to use Comporium when I’m paying city and county taxes. My family and friends have hated them for years!!

I just have internet service with them. It's over $60.00 per month. That's really expensive.

It’s healthy for businesses to have competition. It makes them work harder to improve services for customers, and allows customers to make choices for themselves.

I agree. It got so expensive I had to cancel all services with them. Now all my grand children have to watch is basic tv from an old timer antenna.

I would like to have options for internet and cable, not be bound to an agreement made with Comporium by the good old boys currently in office. With the Panthers corporate offices moving down to Rock Hill I doubt they want the poor internet and cable service currently provided by Comporium. I say this is a monopoly which should be reviewed. Then voted on by the public.

I only have internet through Comporium now due to them constantly raising prices. There is no other option where I live or I would be with another company. I believe Comporium takes advantage of their customers in every way just to put money in there pockets. I want other options where I live.
