Monopolistic, lousy customer service, far too many negatives and far too pricey.

Comporium as a service provider performs very poorly and the lack of other options for internet service providers is disheartning. I had intentions of buying a home in Rock Hill. My occupation relies heavily on communicating to many coworkers over online meetings. I can see this leading to future problems. If you have an occupation that is either remote, hybrid or just simply enjoy spending time online do NOT move to Rock Hill.

Comporium has a monopoly in Rock Hill making it difficult to get other providers. And the internet service is subpar

Using Comporium internet services and paying much more than fair market price due to Comporium's elevated pricing. Competitors are not allowed to provide services in my area.

Comporium has held a monopoly in this area for YEARS. It's unfair to the customers in this area - and, frankly, seems a little suspicious at times. I don't accept the idea that no other service providers have attempted to enter the market in this area. What - or more pointedly - WHO is keeping all other providers out of the area? This ridiculous lack of choice needs to end NOW.

It is ridiculously expensive especially for seniors on a fixed income we need cheaper options

Comporium is an evil empire…. I’ve always been of the thought that monopolies were illegal- how do they continue to have 100% control in this area???

I can't even get a land line phone without going through Comporium. There is no competition, so they set their prices anywhere they want to.

there needs to be fair competition for the service providers of TV, Internet and alike services. Its pass time to break up this monopoly.

There needs to be more options in the unincorporated sections of Rock Hill. McConnells has Spectrum and York has AT&T. Why can’t we have either of those as options or even Google Fiber?

When I was living in PA 3 years ago, I paid about half of what I'm paying to Comporium. How is this monopoly allowed to exist??

It is illegal to monopolize in an area the size of York and beyond. The city of rock hill, has let this happen. They wouldn’t raise their prices if they had competition.
