We, the students who
undertook the exam ENG3177 Environmental Engineering and Hydrology on the
20/1/2015, request the Student’s Union submit the following resolution to the
Department of Civil Engineering following mistakes and disruption occurred
during the exam, namely:
1.That
the multiple errors in the exam were unacceptable, that the way they were dealt
with was disruptive and unfair, and that our academic performance has suffered
as a result of the errors. Therefore, students should be fairly compensated.
2. Measures
currently in place regarding exam checking should be reviewed by the Department
of Civil Engineering to ensure that errors and disruption which occurred in the
ENG 3177 exam paper are not repeated in the future.
Not only is it unacceptable that such large mistakes could have been made, but I'm also concerned about how exactly the compensation marks will be calculated.
