Complaint about excessive noise from an outdoor sporting event on 25th February
Final supporters
Whilst we support the University of Exeter's diverse and impressive range of sporting activities, in future we request that such events are either:
a) constrained to reasonable broadcasting volumes
OR
b) held outside office hours.
In addition, fore-warning of such events for staff working in buildings adjacent to the sports pitches would be appreciated so that we can plan our work accordingly.

Not only was it a disrutption to my own work, but it makes te deprtment and university lok thoroughly unpreofessional when showing around academic visitors.
Music was sounding so loud in my office that I had a hard job convincing my gf that I was actually at work and not at a party when she called me on my mobile...
Such unnecessary noise for such an obscure event. Instead of drinking cans of Calsberg in your finest attire, be more considerate to others during office hours!
I urge the University to monitor and moderate the use of the PA system to reasonable sound levels that can allow the remaining work to continue in surrounding departments. Please exercise some consideration

We had prospective PhD students visiting and wanted them to go home with a positive impression of our academic working environment. Instead we got this.
