The paralegals need to be recognize since mostly their offices are based at the rural areas. Now legal services are too expensive but with paralegals poor people will afford and befit from their services

I am studying online and in practice, to be a paralegal practitioner. I am in the process of instituting my own legal proceedings in two, multi million Rand, fraud and theft cases, which crimes, I allege to have taken place over the last 10 years., I can not afford a lawyer, Cape Law Society inter alia, have told me that I earn too much to qualify for their help. When I qualify, I will help others like myself. I am grateful for the online info which is available, namely, The Black Sash Paralegal Manuel and organisations such as NADCAO.

Paralegals are not recognised in this legal game, we should look more into it. In the communities some citizens cannot affort legal advice so that is where paralegals get in. Least but not last in most traditional universities people who studied paralegal they dont get credits to further more their studies.

Paralegals are the backbone of this country's justice system. With the Paralegal sector growing as many people are getting rapidly exposed to access to justice through Paralegals the need to monitor our conduct should eventually be brought to light. Recognition is the 1st step to regulating us as well
