Final supporters
Breaking news -Thank you all so much for your support. The great news is that we now have a class back at this venue (now called DNA). Class starts tonight Monday 09 June at 6.30pm and I'd love to see as many of you as possible :)
If this class works there is a possibility that we may be able to start again with our full Tuesday evening timetable
*due to much higher costs (x3) the price for class is £10, rather than £8.50
Thank you again for believing in the community and the importance of events and classes like this :)

I'm really heart-broken and sorry.
After so many great Tuesday nights at The Clapham Grand I'm afraid the management have made the decision not to let us use the venue any more. We're really sorry about the short notice, I was only made aware of this late last week and the team have been desperately trying to change The Grand managements minds.
We've been so lucky to have The Grand in the stead of Wessex House during what has been a very, very prolonged refurbishment program. The management of The Grand have taken over Wessex House from the wonderful owner and we have meetings with them in February to hopefully establish our night at the revamped club.
In order to show The Grand, just how much our nights there mean to all of us, the Clapham community and to the Community class world, can you make time to sign this petition, Community Zumba in Clapham Junction Means the World to Us!
Unfortunately the Grand has repeatedly said that the venue is not available to us but the Team hope that by this show of support for community classes, the management just might reconsider but more importantly, that they will see just how important our two hours at Wessex House are to all of you, to the community and even to those abroad watching our moves.

tut tut, management team of the Grand, why not thank the community that have supported you by letting us use the venues for Zumba? It is our gard earned cash that has made you successful enough to be in a position to procure Wessex House. Be the good guys or just treat it as a PR exercise, it will be a win / win for you anyway!
I have a very busy week and most of my life is committed to a full time job, my son and my partner. Tuesday night is the only night I don't work late and the only night I get to do something for myself, Zumba! Please reconsider your decision.
Please management reconsider. This class reaches out to the community more than you can ever imagine. The same community you expect to visit your premises. Think wisely and do not upset us locals, we can be very loyal if you are good to us as Linsday Jay and her team have always been.
Zumba is not just a fitness class it helps lonely people make friends, the endorphins helps people with depression the people of Clapham need this class
This is such sad news when all we are trying to do is keep fit amongst the expensive prices of gyms. This class is fun and I have made so many good friends through attending the calls.
We need a zumba class in our comunity in Clapham Junction! It going to help a lot of people getting fit. You will have all my support!
I've tried other Zumba classes nothing compares to Wessex House for a venue and Lindsay as a teacher!

The Zumba classes run by Lindsay Jay and her team are the best I have ever been to. It would be a great loss to the community were they to have to stop. I hope that Clapham Garnd can find the availability for these to continue.
