We, the local taxpayers and community members feel the rezoning request "Nabors Dr and Affirmation Blvd (James Island) TMS# 4281600013 (a portion), 046, 047, 048 & 052" should be rejected. We believe change in rezoning [General Business (GB) and Single-Family Residential (SR-1) to Diverse Residential (DR-9)] will increase traffic congestion on already strained infrastructure, decrease livability, and decrease property values in our surrounding community.

We are specifically opposed to intense urban development and would request townhouses, condominiums, and/or apartment buildings specifically be excluded from rezoning if not all together refuted.
