Petition Colquitt County Schools to Implement Mandatory Student Uniforms

I feel that the whole point of this was to invoke school uniforms. They've sacrificed the education of a significant number of young ladies for some poorly thought out and idiotically executed agenda when they can't even get their teachers to conform to their dress code. Frankly, I think anyone with a daughter cursed to be part of this school system ought to be demanding the principal's metaphorical head in a plate.

Dress Code is definitely needed in Colquitt County school systems.

I would love this for my kids, if it to benefit them knowledge wise and for others who are bullied and distracted it could be a blessing

Being that my daughter was a victim in WJW's dress code mess. I am in full agreeance of uniforms. Let's do this.

Students would benefit from a uniform code. It would allow them to study more than worrying about who has the latest fashion trend on.

For parents it would save alot of money. It will quit teasing and bullying students. Overall i believe uniforms will be a good step.

Let's do it. Do not forgot the teachers and staff though. They should follow the same code!!! While visiting the different schools some teachers were goody two shoes and some were inappropriately dressed in my opinion. LETS DO IT The sooner the better!!!

My grandbabies are in the colquitt county school system and i think its ridiculous on these dress issues i mean really so then the school needs to help furnish the clothes

Since kids are getting sent to the office for inappropriate dress, which disrupts the class, makes for more work for the office staff and hinders their parents workday schedule, I feel that a dress code at this time is very appropriate.

I like to see the change. Then you wouldn't have kid picked on because they don't have them $100.00 jeans on!

I myself had to go pick my daughter up whom was in tears from embarrassment from being called out in front of class by her home room teacher. The outfit that was being said was not inappropriate at all. Her shirt however did not go down to her knees. I completely agree with making uniforms mandatory for ALL schools. Less drama and we parents won't spend money on what they seem to call inappropriate.
