This new license plate will promote awareness of Ovarian Cancer in Colorado. This petition is for Colorado resident motor vehicle owners only, asking Colorado to add an Ovarian Cancer Awareness license plate to the list of current specialty plates available

Why should people sign?

Every 23 minutes a woman is diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

With more national awareness will come more money for research, and research saves lives. There are over 200,000 women world-wide diagnosed every year with Ovarian Cancer. Ovarian cancer accounts for about 20,000 new cancer diagnosis every year in the US, and is the most lethal of gynecologic cancers.

Supporting this effort and getting an ovarian cancer awareness license plate would mean a lot to the families, supporters, survivors and current cancer patients because it raises awareness and lets them know there is a whole community of people who care.

Breast Cancer has decreased roughly 36% over the last 40 years with the amount of awareness it has received and the national spotlight it has been given. Just imagine the impact that same treatment could have for Ovarian Cancer.

Awareness is the essential key to saving lives and its time we get involved! Sign this petition to get the attention of the Colorado Legislature and to support Ovarian Cancer Awareness!

By signing this petition, you can assist in stopping this trend. Often called “the silent killer,” ovarian cancer frequently goes unnoticed until it’s too late
