A proposal for a collaborative maker space has been on the Capilano website for some time. Read it here at capilanou.ca/about/strategic-planning – look in the right hand menu under Proposal for Collaborative Space.

A facility like this would allow students from different programs to collaborate on projects, work together in a shared environment, and use a variety of equipment that we don’t currently have access to (some possibilities being 3-D printers, a pottery studio, computer lab, etc).
