Coast electric Power Association has decided to install new remote electric meters in south Mississippi. as soon as this takes place you can expect your electric bill to double (at least). I have talked to a number of people and they all say the same thing......What the hell??? When I approached the company I was told that I must have operated the air conditioner constantly. At the time I received the bill I was not at home for ten days in the billing cycle. and had to pay an additional $100.00. I am calling on my friends and neighbors to petition Coast Electric to have a private company hire a private company it to evaluate the new meters. Have to old ones been so bad that the bill would double? Or has Coast Electric decided to up the price of power to pay for the new meters? Did we have a choice? The company is a monopoly, We can not decide that we want to use a different company (there are no others to chose from), VOICE YOUR OPINION NOW, DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN IN THIS TIME OF HARDSHIP FOR EVERYONE EXCEPT THOSE WHO DON"T CARE
