All relevant teams that will be playing in the Eastern Massachusetts championship games this Sunday November 17th are adamantly opposed to playing on a field that can potentially harm their players and will not facilitate a decent football game due to field conditions. it's a safety issue that all of us coaches are opposed to. We are respectfully asking the Eastern Mass Board of Directors to please select a different venue.

We are currently engaged in direct communication with league leadership to emphasize the physical risks posed to our student athletes. Billerica has the worst field in all of EMass. Just because board members are from Billerica doesn’t mean we should have to play there for everything.
Since the safety of our children is a priority, a safer venue should be found such as the one in Revere, the Harry Della Russo Stadium.
This field is in no condition to be hosting games. The bleachers are dangerous. The field is horrendous. There are many other fields/turfs in better condition. Too many players get hurt on this field.
Championship games should be played on turf. The field was a mess 3 years ago when my kids played, why do they keep getting playoff games and the revenue that goes with it if they aren't going to fix their fields?!
This is horrible and absolutely senseless. There's enough risk in playing the sport as it is...why would they want to put the kids in even greater danger of sustaining injuries?
These kids need to play in safe environments

Great location , horribly dangerous field . I am interested in Billerica field injuries numbers compared to other fields . I can remember ankles and knees taking kids off much more often here . I hope the can repair the field before next year and move the games to a safer field
