XXX Coach James Duignan and Coach Tyler Goldsworthy as Coaches for the Senior Varsity Oshawa Hawkeyes Football Team 2016
This petition has been started to request that Coach James Duignan and Coach Tyler Goldsworthy be assigned as Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator of the Senior Varsity Hawkeyes Football Team for the 2016 OVFL Season.
Coach Duignan and Coach Goldsworthy were the coaches of the Junior Varsity Hawkeyes Team for the 2015 season. They took a team that previously finished 0 - 8 to a team with a regular season winning record of 5 - 3. This 2015 Season Team won their wildcard playoff game against Kingston with a score of 38 - 22 which took them to the Wettges Conference semi-final where they faced the first place team Ottawa Myers.
Coach Duignan and Goldsworthy have an extensive knowledge of football having both played at the CIS Level. Their dedication to the team began in January with weekly training camp practices so that by the time outdoor practices began the players were in top physical condition. They attracted players from all over Durham Region putting together a highly skilled group of players.
Coach Duignan and Goldsworthy taught the players an offensive and defensive system that enabled them to compete with any team in the league. As coaches of the senior varsity team they would be able to continue this system with the majority of the players moving up to the senior level. Taking the talent of the current varsity team and combining the players moving up with Coach Duignan and Coach Goldsworthy's expertise would create a championship winning team.
In conclusion, James Duignan and Tyler Goldsworthy are outstanding leaders that would be excellent coaches for the Hawkeyes Senior Varsity 2016 Team.

I really thought this might just float around the locker room but seeing the support grow like this is honestly wild because it proves that everyone sees what I see in what James and Tyler did for the guys last year. It feels like the momentum is finally catching up to the talent on the field which is all you can really ask for right now.

My son was on defensive line, Coach Goldsworthy was a great leader, gave the boys great confidence in themselves, and Coach Duignan is a great leader to all the boys. Great coaches great leaders!
Excellent coaches! Not only did they teach the boys so much about the game of football but also life lessons that will stay with them forever.
Excellent group of coaches from what I've seen down from the sidelines. Not only did they train my younger brother to become a better DB, they also trained the rest of the team impressively earning them a playoff spot after many years of struggle.
These coaches are the best group of coaches I've ever been with. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be the way I am right now and I hope I can follow through with them as my years go on
From on the field to in the film room, these coaches have been some of the greatest I have ever played for. Would love to have them at senior.
