The Central North Side is requesting your support to generate interest in support of accommodating a natural and organic food market to be located in the Garden Theater building on North Avenue. The building is on the verge of rehabilitation culminating the efforts of almost 20 years from community supporters; also ending over 40 years of blight that has affected perhaps the most prominent and visible part of the neighborhood. Acquiring this tenant is a critical step towards the development of the North Side of tomorrow.

We are asking for your support in showing the potential tenant that interest in patronage will be supported. Although it will be member owned, membership on the co-op will not be required to shop there. However, it is with the support of its members that a cooperative is able to sustain itself. Membership also entails many benefits such as varying discounts on all purchases, voting privileges and access to their credit union. The cost of a lifetime membership is $100, can be made in quarterly payments of $25 at your convenience, and is fully refundable at any time should you decide so.
