Our main issue we want to address is not only the wage gap between men and women, but also the wage gap between black women and white women. Specifically because black women statistically make a lower wage than white women.
I am currently compiling the data regarding pay disparities to include in a formal briefing for local labor representatives. This documentation will anchor our upcoming discussions with policymakers to ensure they address systemic wage inequities directly.
