The students of FCPS (FairFax County Public Schools) are tired of being treated like objects rather than human beings. Our safety shouldn't be jeopardized by the poor decision making of the FCPS School Board. It should not take a bunch of students running to twitter for FCPS to make an informed and educated decision. Safety is a priority and concern to both students and their guardians and parents but safety clearly isn't important to the FCPS School Board.

It is very unsafe for kids to be out in this weather. There is a lot of black ice on the roads and the side walks.
Plz my dad drove out today and we slid a lil and it’s too dangerous to drive near my street so plzzzz close school
My brother has to walk to the bus stop by himself everyday because my parents have to go to work, there is a lot of ice near our apartment and we’re afraid he might slip and fall. I hope the ice is properly gone by tomorrow
Please close school. The sidewalks and the roads are very icy and unsafe. Don’t make what happened in 2015 happen again.
I live on a big road and I can’t get to the bus stop without walking through my neighbors yard through slipper dangerous snowor by walking on the icy roads.
