It is going to be far too cold outside tomorrow (1/28/14) to
hold school. All of the local schools are already closed, including CVTC and
even some local restaurants!
Our university should be focusing on their student’s health,
instead of just having just one more day of school. Yes, school is very
important and is a priority, but if the university is warning you of the risks
of frostbite from being outside with any exposed skin for 5-10 minutes then it is
far too risky for some of us students have a 15 minute walk going from
their housing to other academic buildings. If we choose not to attend class due to the weather, or vehicles not starting, we could either
loose points or our “free” days.
College should better people to better themselves and get ready for a career not hospitalize them for frostbite and hypothermia.
