It is nauseating enough to be conscious of the conduct in Ilkley slaughterhouse. I have so much sympathy for those who have to live near and of course, the animals themselves who fall victim of torment.

with all the food available in the UK there is no need to murder animals for food. It's the 21st century evolve and stop killing our planet while your at it!

Ilkley slaughter house needs closing. When you walk past it, it makes you feel sick most of the time there is blood and animal skin left in barrels it's not a nice sight for someone to see especially vegetarians and think about the poor animals theykill, think if it was your pets going there to kill to be on someone's plate.

It is not a good idea to shut the slaughter house. Eating meat is natural and they kill them in the most humane way possible. I can't say I enjoy meat and I don't like all the things they do to the animals but that just means I try not to eat meat or at least only eat free range. You shouldn't try to stop other people eating meat as it is their choice and is never going to happen anyway.

I work at a slaughterhouse, we have to abide by strict animal warfare laws set by the goverment.if we shut down this strict law abiding slaughterhouse we just leaving the foreign badly managed slaughter houses to have a free roam
