We are asking the Roatan Municipal to formally close Roatan Rescue. There are currently 60+ animals being housed there that are not receiving proper medical care and we question who is feeding the animals since the director of the rescue has left the island for 3 weeks. The constant howling, crying and barking can be heard 1/4 mile away.

I HAVE BEEN SPENDING MY ENTIRE MORNING DOCUMENTING THE AWFUL CONDITIONS AND SUBMITTING FORMAL REPORTS TO THE MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES!! THE NOISE AND NEGLECT AT THIS FACILITY CANNOT CONTINUE FOR ANOTHER SECOND!!

I AM ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY BY THE MASSIVE FLOW OF SUPPORT WE ARE SEEING RIGHT NOW!! THE MOMENTUM IS GROWING SO FAST AND IT IS CLEAR THAT PEOPLE CARE DEEPLY ABOUT SAVING THESE ANIMALS FROM NEGLECT!! THIS IS A HUGE TURNING POINT FOR OUR CAUSE AND I FEEL SO ENERGIZED BY THIS INCREDIBLE RESPONSE!!

These animals are the main priority here, let’s get her closed ASAP so we can check on their health and welfare status!
The obvious constant barking shows distress with the dogs. They are not being cared for and need to be help.
Please close this place down, get proper care for the animals there and shut this organization down as a whole and the scumbag director running it to prevent them from scamming anyone else out of the money.

This hoarding of animals needs to be stopped! These poor dogs need better treatment. They need a Vet and proper care ASAP!!!
