The West Coast Game Park is a "walk through" safari that gives visitors a hands on experience with all different types of exotic wild life. While that may be partially true, what they advertise is not what it seems. They claim to have over 450 animals and 75 different species, but when you walk into the "safari" you see 2 chimps in cages smaller than a bedroom. They have fully grown lions who's enclosures that are far too small for them. They also have 3 fully grown Bison and one baby in an enclosure smaller than a house. They also have an Elk in a field but just right in front of the enclosure there is a very large archway made of antlers from other Elk. After walking through the game park for about an hour I was in tears seeing these animals being held in these chain link cages that are far to small for them. On top of that none of the animals seemed to have any access to water. They do have free roaming animals that you get to feed but many of them look as though they have not been groomed in months. I am starting this petition to get these poor innocent animals out of this horrible place and get them into good organizations that will treat them with the love and care these beautiful animals deserve.

Injured, neglected & unsupervised animals with no access to clean water. Undereducated and unqualified staff. No enrichment. "the largest petting zoo" the primates are especially stressed. The cats suffer from muscular atrophy, the bear is morbidly, dangerously obese. Big cats are breed for tourists. Even the free roaming animals are not properly groomed (not brushed, hooves are ignored, etc)
Drove by this a week ago and stood on top of my van to look over their 10 ft tall fences. What I saw was so grim and disheartening. A full grown panther trotting back and forth along its cage, a pack of 5 kangaroos and a ostrich crammed in an exhibit the size of my living room... My girlfriend said she saw foxes on the other side of the fence looking very sad and lonely in their much too small exhibit... This is on the coast of Oregon where it's foggy and wet not the outback or the jungle. I'm so sick of seeing animal exploitation for human capital gain. They are creatures that are meant to roam free and support the functionality of the ecosystems that they are native to. Please help this petition gain momentum and shut down this place.

We were there & the condition of the animals is absolutely horrific! Animals have died! Please shut this place down before more die!
This place is horrible
Just visited here and definitely terrible living conditions for the animals. Lack of food, stimulation, and area to live. Some of them seemed like they were depressed or going crazy.
I AM SHOCKED AND DISGRACED THIS HAS BEEN ALLOWED IN MY STATE. WE ARE SO MUCH MORE AWARE AND ENLIGHTENED THAN THIS. SHAMEFUL - SHUT DOWN!q

This place is horrid! I saw goats with bleeding heads, pacing animals, and it felt like things were dying. The lion looks starved :(
