we actually pulled it off and the city approved the skate park plans today. i am honestly blown away by the support and so happy our kids finally have a place to go. let me know if you want to help with the planning phase as we get moving.

Final supporters
A skate park is long overdue for Cleburne.
There is a significant number of skateboarders and BMXers in Cleburne, and the number is growing. These kids have no safe and authorized place to enjoy their sport. The City has lots of parks, big and small. Why not use some of the space to build a place that will add to our cities map, draw in visitors from nearby towns, and give our youth another place to be active and off of the streets?
Sign this petition, to show our city officials and developers that the people of Cleburne want a skate park. Our youth deserves to have a safe, and awesome, place to skateboard and ride BMX.

The kids need a place to enjoy physical activities that don't just involve organized sports. Not everyone plays sports like soccer and football. Not everyone is in FFA. Give everyone a place to get physical activity. A safe place.
Cleburne needs a diverse range of attractions that are well thought out. I would recommend that the skate park be designed by skate enthusiasts and not a city worker or committee nor a hired consultant.
Let's see if this will actually happen I've signed so many petitions for a skatepark but none have gone through but I hope this does because the cops proul on us thinking we are criminals and that way we will be in a good area instead of all around town
All the people in cleburne thats skateboard would want this, and would help the comminuty out witout skaters destroying private property.
As a 26 year old who grew up in Cleburne skating always getting tickets and kicked off places it is way overdue for one here where people can roll around on smoother concrete without getting in someone's way I think this is something that NEEDS to be done

I definitely think we need a skate park. We have nothing in this town, for our kids to do. I know my daughter and her friends usually go to Alvarado, or Arlington to the skate park. It would be nice if they had one here.
