The state has approved the funding request for the SO2 monitoring equipment. Our formal request to Senator Simonaire and his colleagues secured the necessary commitment. We will now monitor the procurement process to ensure the hardware is installed as promised.
Sign the petition today to assist Senator Bryan Simonaire, Delegate Nic Kipke and Delegate Meagan Simonaire in petitioning the State of Maryland to help us acquire the necessary equipment to monitor the SO2 levels.
We deserve to know if we are breathing healthy air, or not!
We have reached the 250 signature threshold. My next step is to deliver these names to the offices of Senator Simonaire and Delegates Kipke and Simonaire to formally request state assistance for air monitoring equipment.

Finally. My asthma has been acting up way more than usual this year and I suspect the industrial sites are to blame.

Living right by all these plants means we deserve to know if the air is safe or not. Glad someone is finally doing something.

Awesome. We have too many people in this area with allergies, sinus issues and asthma problems. I'm not a doctor, but I'm sure some of its caused by living near so many industrial businesses in this area. Thanks again for putting this forward.
