We the John Cooper Class of 2018 (and sympathizers), in order to form a more perfect Spirit Week, establish Justice, insure academic Tranquility, provide for the common spirit, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of John Cooper to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Petition for the United Juniors of John Cooper.

While our class is very excited for spirit week, we believe we’ve been cheated out of our chance to win this year due to an unfair election. Although our theme-elect is a great second choice, we firmly believe that the runner-up theme, which was vetoed by higher authority, will give our class the best chance to finally beat the tyrannical seniors in their rule over past spirit weeks. Our choice theme, “Wild Wild Kanye West”, does not only capture the spirit of our class, but also of our generation. Furthermore, it would best excite and energize our Varsity basketball team, which is the purpose of spirit week.

As Kanye once said, “I was never really good at anything except for the ability to learn”. Please grant us the ability to learn what we can accomplish as a class, under the common passion for Wild Wild Kanye West.
