Have you ever found it strange that the Clark University mascot is a cougar, when you have never seen a single cougar on campus Why do we rally behind an animal that none of us know Sigmund Freud is a man that we all know very well, be it from learning about him in classes, or walking past his giant statue every day. The Fighting Freuds are already in our hearts, let us at last also put them on our sweatshirts. This is a petition for everyone that is sick of feeling alienated from our mascot. This is for everyone who uses Freudian terms, whether they understand them or not. This is for Clark University to come together and support our main man, Sigmund Freud. All joking aside, the idea to switch our mascot from the Clark Cougars to the Fighting Freuds has been surfacing on campus more and more over the last several years. Let's take it upon ourselves to make the switch. Let's challenge convention and change our world.
