Hell ya. Our town is a boring little town why not spice it up and have some fun since everything else is being taken away from us.

Keep grassroots drifting alive where enthusiasts can push their cars in a safe and controlled environment instead of the street

Opening the runway would be a great idea to get more places available for motor enthusiasts to be able to participate in, spectate and gather to enjoy safe motosports.

I believe there is a social responsibility to offer a venue to the public to be involved in motorsports. Unfortunately, in southern Alberta, the options are slim to none. Rmdc is a club with responsible members that will do whatever they need to do to offer the public a safe venue to participate in motorsports. This in turn keeps our streets safer and offers a club of great people to get together and learn new skills. I think clubs like rmdc are necessary and I support them by signing this petition.

As both an avid aviation enthusiast and motor sport enthusiast, I think the airport can give up its runway once in a while. The benefits of this event outweigh the butt hurt pilots/airport official's feelings.

I highly encourage to permit the RMDC to use the airport runway, as this is a professionally organized group who constantly shows respect to others. The RMDC is a hope for the town of Claresholm to attract more people to the town with overall economical benefits.

I've driven 6 hours from Saskatchewan twice within the last year to attend rmdc events at the Claresholm airport. As a result I have spent money in the town of claresholm on fuel, food, supplies and other purchases. Besides stimulating the local economy, the events provide a safe and well organized opportunity for motor sports enthusiasts to engage in their community, and keep motor sports off the streets. The organizers are responsible and to my knowledge always ensure compliance with local noise and other bylaws and regulations. Nothing but positive things to say about RMDC.

The drift club is an asset to claresholm. Their events bring in people fron all over into our community. To restrict growth of a sport/event in the community due to the few planes that use the airport would be a HUGE economic setback.

New generation Vs Old Generation. Embrace positive change and creativity with helping the Younger Generation move forward with a red carpet of confidence showing them that doors are open for them and their ideas. Being a brick wall to a group of individuals that are driven by passion and are doing nothing but coming together to have FUN. Do your part by showing them responsibility and discipline in their passion but do not hold the Young Generation back from growing their community because im telling you Old Generation they are all you got for a future so work with them.
Keep the Spirit and safe place alive.
