I support the use of the runway for motor sports and any revenue generating activities for the town and county.

Being one of the only places for the car community to get together and genuinely enjoy their cars; it would be a shame to see that taken away...

100 percent agree with Jason on growth of our beautiful town. Council needs to expand it's closed minds and help grow our community so our children have a place to call home and continue growing into new family's while remaining here to work and play. Dying towns lose provincial and federal funding without growth. Allow them to further this community by giving excess to the airport and continue to provide tourist aswell as funds for small and local business.

My kid enjoys watching the cars, would be sad to see the land not be utilized as much as possible.

I have yet to participate In driving on the runway but have been coming out and have driven on the pad many other events in the past year and a half and will continue to travel out to do so and use the services the town has to offer. Having access beyond just the concrete pad will give more reason for myself and others to come out more often, especially bigger events.

I’ve been attending RMDC events since they began, and using the airport for special events gives much more reason for drivers to travel from out of town and attend. We always fuel up and go for food in town during and after the events.

I agree but it’s not just about what we bring to the community as a car club it’s all the other organizations who come and us the airport for drivers training. It will be a hug loss to the community of Claresholm if they can no longer come and use the airport.
