CBS Atlanta News has obtained more than 500 pages of internal affairs complaints lodged against Clayton County police officer Michael Hobbs in the last five years. Chief Investigative Reporter Wendy Saltzman found dozens of use-of-force reports brushed aside by Clayton County internal affairs, including claims Hobbs is terrorizing citizens. One of those citizens is Brian Hoolihan. Hoolihan passed out in his car along side a road in Clayton County in a diabetic coma back in 2007. He had a sticker on the window of his car, warning about his life threatening medical condition. A police report shows Officer Hobbs arrived at the scene and wrongfully assumed Hoolihan was drunk. Hobbs forced himself into the car and struck Hoolihan twice with a closed fist to the face and another blunt elbow blow to his head. CBS Atlanta obtained the gruesome pictures of Hoolihan, bloodied and beaten on the side of the road, at the hands of an officer who was supposed to protect him. "He was out of control," said Hoolihan. "The next thing I remember is waking up in the ambulance." Hoolihan's was just one of 12 disturbing complaints filed against Hobbs over the last five years at the Clayton County Police Department. It is time for Chief Greg Porter to be fired along with Officer Michael Hobbs. They are out of control and the citizens of Clayton County should not have to deal with police corruption. It is time for action and time for change.

I think what Officer Michael Hobbs has done to many people, especially the man in the diabetic coma was disgusting. As far as I'm concerned he belongs in prison.

As a combat veteran of OIF 2, even WE never treated our suspects and/or POW's with such blatent disregard for human rights as Hobbs does. I won't even grant him the title of "officer". In my eyes? He hasn't earned it. Keeping him as a peace keeper offends me so deep I can't even think. What were we fighting for? So animals like this can be kept on a police force? Pitiful.

This officer is completely unlawful and abusive, using excessive force on multiple occasions. He needs to be held accountable for his actions.

With all of these complaints against him and another officer that left the force due Officers Hobbs actions should be a wake for the chief. Oh but the chief does not care.

It's open season on citizens all over the western world. Cops are out of control. Here in Vancouver, we have a few Hobbs'.
