They actually listened and are pulling the plug on the SunCap project which honestly feels surreal right now because I remember staring at that empty lot thinking we had zero chance. My coffee is cold but I really do not care because this is a massive win for our neighborhood …

We the undersigned oppose the SunCap Light Industrial project, and any other projects involving industrial or heavy semi traffic, proposed for the Palisade Park area between Huron St and I-25. We ask that both the development company, Urban Frontier, and the City and County of Broomfield, Colorado consider a plan more in line with mixed use commercial businesses and walkable services for the communities as outlined in the City and County of Broomfield Comprehensive Plan, resolution 2016-194.

I can hardly believe the way this has taken off because honestly I thought maybe a dozen people would care about the industrial traffic near Palisade Park. It keeps me up at night wondering if the city will actually listen but seeing this movement grow makes me feel like maybe we have a shot at keeping this area walkable and safe after all.

Fix the traffic first. The road cant handle the semis. Bad idea all around.

Ridiculous. We bought homes here for the neighborhood feel, not to have industrial warehouses built right in our backyard. Stop this.

What happened to the plan for walkable shops and a community space? Thats what we were promised. Very disappointed in the city.

We dont need more semi trucks on Huron. Its already a mess getting to the highway during rush hour. Keep it residential please.

Too many trucks already. Think about the kids crossing the street near the park.

ABSOLUTELY NOT. The noise and pollution from that much industrial traffic will ruin this whole area.
