Representative Dan Branch for Dallas County has proposed HB 3520 to name a portion of the current Central Expressway/75 to the George W. Bush Expressway. This petition is a proposed change to HB 3520 from naming the expressway after the 43rd President to naming it after slain Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. Chris Kyle was a highly decorated Navy SEAL and native Texan. Prior to his untimely death he worked with veterans to overcome some issues with PTSD. He's known as America's Most Deadly Sniper. He served our country from 1999 to 2009. Prior to his death he was working towards becoming a police officer - once again serving to protect. Chad Littlefield was also shot and killed during the same incident on February 2, 2013. UPDATE: Rep. Jim Pitts is working on bill to honor Kyle and Littlefield.
