The cost should not be a consideration. What did his service cost Officer Goforth and his family? The cost is immeasurable. It is time to honor those that wear the age to protect us!
Deputy Darren Goforth made the ultimate sacrifice, the changing of a street name to honor his life is but very a small way of saying thanks
As a county worker I know for a fact that the name of the road needs to be changed to Goforth.
I am all in for a memorial, but not a road name change for Deputy Goforth or Sandy Bland.
I think this would be a great tribute to a fallen officer who was just doing his job.
