It is essential that the unit stays open, Wrexham has a huge intake of people from surrounding areas as well as Wrexham itself,alot of the people cannot afford to travel further afield.
Sick babies need to be cared for locally. If the unit is moved some of these precious babies will die . Of that there is no doubt.
A vital service for so many families - can't imagine having to travel to & from Liverpool at such a stressful time!
Our daughter was born 7 weeks early and is still in SCBU they are doing an amazing job caring for her 27/7 god only knows where Megan would be without them thank you xx
I've had 3 prem babies 2 of which born in Wrexham one glan clwyd one only born 7 weeks early but got poorly on day 3 needed an op in Liverpool but couldn't stabilise enough to get in ambulance how can these babies even smaller than mine make the journey
My granddaughter was 6 weeks early. The Wrexham SBCU gave her life!!!
Essential unit needed in Wrexham Hospital!!!

My little girl was born prematurely by 9 weeks by emergency c section, if it was for Wrexham scbu, then i can't bear to think what may have happened to her. Please don't try to fix something that's not broke in the first place.
