The health board thought they could quietly dismantle these units while we were too distracted to notice. They were dead wrong because this momentum proves they cannot get away with gutting care for our kids.

My nephew had his op at Glenfield and the staff were absolute angels. Dont close it down! Its vital for so many families
TOTAL DISGRACE. These people have no clue what they are playing with. Keep the units open.
Already had to travel enough for my girls treatment. Any further and we wouldnt have coped. stop cutting services that actually work
the travel alone will kill poor families. how are we supposed to get to a new hospital with a sick kid in the back of the car? leave it alone
Heartbroken hearing this news. My little one wouldnt be here without the cardiac team. Please keep the unit open

my son has had heart surgery at the glenfield and I think it is disgusting at the way nhs England have behaved I sent them an email and they have denied it is anything to do with them, we live in Nottingham and we have had nothing but the best done for our son.
